Tarpon Tyrant EVA Grip

Tarpon Tyrant is one of the most versatile rods in our offshore lineup. Though it was built and designed for casting 2/3 ounce jigs at schooling tarpon, this rod has the power to catch many different species of near-shore or offshore fish, including yellowfin tuna, ling, wahoo, red snapper, sharks, and bull red fish. It is constructed of a custom blank built with E-Glass and graphite. It has a tremendous amount of backbone, large custom high density EVA handles, matched up with a Fuji trigger reel seat. This rod was designed using input from a local fishing guide with over 30 year’s experience chasing the mighty Tarpon. An all-around great rod for offshore or nearshore fishing.
